DBC Group is an Irish owned company founded in 1982, and has been serving the presentation requirements of the business sector for over 32 years.

The MIS solution which was implemented in DBC Group is unique for several major reasons:

  • It combines data management, reporting, integration and communication tracking
  • It integrates stock control, accounting, customer facing web applications and excel marketing documents
  • It is a CRM system with Marketing, Sales tracking, telesales, service, quotation generation and financial reporting
  • It enables the organisation to identify sales opportunities immediately
  • It measures performance and productivity
  • It allocates resources to customers yielding most Gross Profit

Colm Paul, MD, DBC Group, Dublin

Firstly I would like to thank you for helping us with the on going implementation of our CRM system as you are aware the main reasons for us contracting your company to implement the system for us was as follows:
1. Your Platform ability to integrate with our current systems
2. Your platforms scope for future development i.e. integration with Microsoft products, Blackberry, email integration
3. Its ability to implement other office tasks economically and quickly onto the system.
4. Visibility and easy of search and query on the chosen results
5. Easy of use for untrained operators

What impressed me most about your system was the ability to merge various data sources across my accounting onto a single view spreadsheet. DataKraft is easy to view, in a format that allows my staff to make intelligent decisions based on the information on screen. All necessary information is available for further searches and queries on any field and all searching numerous ledgers within our accounting data. What’s more it is all done in less than 10 seconds.
No more “reports about reports” I view the information and click the mouse for further interrogation. Before, I had to seek, wait and pay a huge amount of money for a single report only to find that I needed extra information upon review. Guess what…that involved the purchase of another report, more money, more time! Gathering and interrogating the information is just one of the exciting dimensions but it’s ability to delegate and monitor is a real killer application!

I have viewed many CRM systems over the past 10 years and can say that your system is the “Eureka” moment every marketing and business manager is looking for.As a small business we have spent a considerable amount of money on integrating your platform, but in less than three weeks of operation we are already reaping the rewards. The control I have on my business is immense and ability of my staff to make decisions quickly and “on the fly” to market situations is second to none in our industry. This would not have been possible without your platform.
Furthermore, this investment is something we can build on to integrate other mundane tasks onto your system. I have invested heavily in your platform and for the first time in 20 years in business have to say it was worth every penny!
I am not one to “wax lyrical” about IT software and consultants as I have fallen victim to the “can do” but “can’t deliver” syndrome on too many occasions. Your company was an exception from your IT platform to system integration to project management.

Client Testimony: Pat Gilroy MD of Dalkia Ireland
“Due to our company’s continuing growth, our needs were increasing for a HR system that would have the primary functionality we needed, and be easy to use and maintain. We faced the following challenges:

  • We had a budget of allocated to the project that ruled out custom development
  • We wanted something up and running immediately
  • We wanted to manage several companies within a unique global group
  • Staff entitlements may be different depending on the company they are linked to
  • We wanted to record the history of staff moving between different client sites
  • We wanted to leverage our existing HR database and data resources

DataKraft gave a demo to our HR Manager, CFO and an Access developer and within an hour we asked dataKraft to develop a custom solution based on our needs.
They presented the first version of our solution to us only 1 week later. dataKraft also let us test the application as it was being designed to validate the design which meant we had an early view of what they were doing and wouldn’t get any unwanted surprises later.
DataKraft also helped us to move from the Access database we were using to SQL Server without any hassle or downtime.
Our HR Solution is now live and has been very successful.
Since going live we have also now rolled out the solution to Dalkia Management and dataKraft was able to support the security profiles we required.
We are very pleased with the implementation and how it has performed since going live.”

Patrick Trane, CEO of Bantry Technologies

“Most of our contracts with clients are for large quantities that have to be delivered on a phased basis. We needed to be able to manage our client information, contracts, and to track the phased delivery of these contracts.
We had already invested in a very popular small CRM (Customer Relationship Management)package, and while it did manage our contacts well, it couldn’t go any further to help us manage contracts or service delivery.
We wanted to avoid duplicating our client information in a different system so we decided to try to find a system that could meet all of these needs together in one centralised environment.
We found dataKraft at the right time and because dataKraft Studio can create a custom designed application very quickly, they were able to give us a custom solution that met all of our business needs. They worked with us to understand our requirements and then they spent about a day designing it with us, after which we were comfortable enough to carry on the design ourselves.
In only 2 days we were live with our custom built solution with no perceivable disruption to our day-to-day business. We also achieved significant savings, as the alternative to dataKraft would have been expensive development, or a much larger and more costly package.”
